Problem Statement
Extracting meaningful trends from a large-scale global developer survey to guide technology strategy, hiring decisions, and product adoption. Key questions: top used/desired languages, databases, cloud platforms; demographic variations by experience/role/location; emerging tech trends; developer job satisfaction and learning preferences.
Solution & Methodology
- Data Processing & EDA (Python): Cleaned, transformed, and processed raw survey data using Pandas and NumPy. Conducted statistical EDA using Matplotlib and Seaborn for visualizations.
- Interactive Dashboard (Power BI): Developed dashboards analyzing tech popularity rankings, demographic breakdowns (country, experience, role), and comparative analysis of current usage ('Worked With') vs. future interest ('Want to Work With').
Key Insights
- JavaScript and Python dominate across developer segments
- Rapid adoption acceleration of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- High surge of interest in AI/ML frameworks and libraries
- Regional variations in preferred database systems
- Technology sector shows significant YoY growth
- Remote work adoption patterns across regions
Conclusion & Impact
Provides actionable intelligence for technology companies, HR departments, and educational institutions. Insights guide recruitment strategies, technology adoption decisions, and curriculum design.
